What is it?

Agents can update or turn off previously-enabled smart reminders for clients any time until the data collection status is not in 'Completed'.

How to Use the Feature

Agents:

If you have Smart Reminders turned on for any of the submissions within your clients, you will have the option to turn these off by unchecking the check box 'Send Smart Reminders to clients' and save changes. Agents can also choose to update the recipient lists or frequency any time until the data collection status is not in 'Completed'.

Important: If you do not see an option to "Smart Reminder Settings" on a submission, it means there are currently no smart reminders set on that particular submission.
Smart reminders will no longer be sent to the insured if:

  • All forms and schedules in the submission have been signed and submitted

  • The submission is deleted

  • The "Turn Off Reminders" is selected from the Actions overflow menu on the data collection page

  • The "Turn Off Reminders" is selected from the submission row overflow menu on the submission overview page

Reminders can be turned back on in the same fashion as initially performed using the 'Smart Reminder. Off' button on the submissions page > Data Collection tab. If you want to see how to turn on reminders, please see our Help Center article here.
