Indio Technologies offers an integration with AMS 360 that helps your team keep the book of business in Indio up to date, client profiles up to date with all current information and also pull in policy level data to fill schedules in our Schedule Workbook feature.

Updated 11/8/24: Vertafore API-based VPN incompatible with Indio policy data integration

Vertafore is introducing limitations to VPN-based access for AMS360, which will primarily impact new AMS360 agencies. The existing integration between Indio and AMS360 relies on two key components: the Web Services API, which is used to pull updated client data, assigned agency employees, and client contacts into Indio, and the VPN connection for policy data imports. Agencies that have the VPN integration with Vertafore also use this connection to import detailed policy information, such as schedules. With the new API-based model, new AMS360 agencies will no longer have VPN access, and instead, will be limited to using the new data delivery API, which offers more targeted access to specific data, however it lacks the broad access that was previously available through the VPN.

Currently, for existing agencies, the VPN service will continue to remain operational, but as Vertafore moves forward with this change, they may require significant adjustments to the integration in order to support the API. This transition highlights the importance for agencies using VPN-based policy imports to collaborate with Vertafore in order to ensure uninterrupted access.

Indio will maintain support for the VPN-based integration for existing agencies or agencies that use the original AMS360 VPN, but unfortunately will not be able to provide the client-data integration for agencies using the new API-based VPN. Those agencies will only include client-level integration and will not be able to import schedules

Tier:
This can be on any tier but there is an additional cost associated with the feature at Indio and also AMS 360 if you do not have access to the VPN already. Please reach out to your Indio contact and AMS 360 rep. to get more information.  There are two parts to the integration the client sync that does not require the VPN and the full integration that will pull over policy level data for the schedules which you need the VPN for.

Benefits:

  1. Increase agency efficiency

  2. Decrease keystrokes

  3. Save your team time.
