A data collection submission that is no longer needed can be archived. There is also an option to unarchive a submission that was archived by accident. The archive option replaces the delete option that was previously available for a submission.
The Archive Submission option is on the overflow menu for a submission on the Submissions page.
The Archive Submission option is also on the Actions menu for a submission on the details page for a Submission.
A user is asked to confirm the archive.
Archived submissions appear under the ARCHIVED section for an account. If this section is collapsed, click "> ARCHIVED" to expand and show the list of archived submissions.
For archived submissions, the only option is to unarchive. If an agent tries to click into an archived submission the following message displays:
Admin users are allowed to unarchive any submission for an account. Non-admin users (Managers and Employees) can only unarchive a submission to which they were assigned. If a Non-Admin user tries to unarchive a submission to which they were not assigned then the following message displays and the Unarchive Submission button is disabled.
Archive and unarchive activities appear on the Activity list for a submission and for an account.
The Activity list for an Account includes a filter option to show only archive and unarchive activities.
Note that the name of a submission is shown in strike-through text if a submission is currently archived.
