Why did we enable this feature?

Previously, clients were unable to control or manage who on their side had access to Indio. This often led to the insured reaching out to the agent to request that access be granted to additional users and created more work for the agent.

Benefits of the Feature

Allowing the client primary contact to add or remove the access of other contacts now helps provide more control over whom on the client side has access and lessens the number of service calls for the agent.

How Does the Feature Work?

A primary or full-access contact adds a new contact

The primary contact clicks the Add Contact button

The Add Contact drawer is triggered. The primary contact enters contact information and selects an access group. After entering contact info and selecting an access group, the primary contact clicks the Add Contact button.

The drawer is dismissed and the new contact is added. The confirmation message is triggered.

Primary or full access contact changes the access level for another contact and enables optional permissions

The primary contact navigates to the Contacts page and clicks the Edit button for the contact they wish to edit

The Edit Contact drawer is triggered. The primary client contact changes the permissions access group for their contact.

The primary client contact sets additional permissions for the contact and clicks the Save button

The drawer is dismissed and the contact’s access level and permissions have been updated

A primary or full-access contact removes a contact

The primary contact clicks the Remove Contact button

The Remove Contact confirmation modal is triggered and the primary contact clicks the Remove button.

The confirmation modal is dismissed and the contact is removed. The confirmation message is triggered

Tooltip: Only agents can edit or remove the primary contact

Primary and full-access contacts cannot edit or remove themselves. The edit and remove buttons are disabled since primary contacts cannot edit their own info or permissions, or remove themselves. Only agents are allowed to edit or remove the primary contact.

FAQs

Q: When a client primary contact or full access contact adds, removes, or edits a user contact, will these activities be logged under the account activities?
