Why did we enable this feature?

Previously, when importing Excel spreadsheet data into Indio schedules, there was no sort of validation being done on fields to ensure that data complied with Epic's data validation rules. When the agent subsequently attempted to export the schedule data to Epic, the export would fail due to various data validation errors which had no clear details on how to correct the errors after the fact. These export validation errors prevented agents from ever successfully exporting data back to Epic, and caused them to have to key the data manually into Epic.

Benefits of the Feature:

This feature will save agents a significant amount of time by allowing them to push schedule data back to Epic without validation errors occurring. Agents no longer have to key updates manually back to Epic.

How Does the Feature Work:

NOTE: The Applied Team has set all validation rules on fields that export to Epic. There is no need for your Indio admin, agents, or clients to do so.

Agent view:

Validation error messaging in schedules and forms (forms not shown below)

A warning/error message now appears for agents upon accessing a schedule in a submission after validation rules have been rolled out, and errors are present.

The agent clicks on the Locations with SOV schedule on the schedule workbook page.

The agent is navigated to the schedule page. The New Column Validation Rules modal is triggered.
The agent clicks the Resolve Issues button.

The New Validation Rules modal is dismissed, and the agent is scrolled to the invalid input.

The agent resolves the validation errors for all rows.

Once all validation errors are resolved, the Errors drawer is dismissed.

If the agent does not resolve validation errors from the schedule workbook page, they will also be prompted to do so in the last step of the export to Epic flow.
