Learn how to use the Sagitta Schedule Export feature to export schedule data from Indio and then import it into Sagitta.

What is it?

Agencies using Vertafore’s Sagitta Agency Management System (AMS) alongside Indio can now export your schedule data from Indio into Sagitta.

Benefits of the feature:

The Schedule Export function eliminates the need to re-enter Indio schedule data into Sagitta, saving you time and effort and reducing the potential for errors and omissions.

Based upon customer feedback, we’ve mapped 8 schedule entities for export from Indio into Sagitta:

  • Drivers

  • Vehicles

  • Locations

  • Named Insured

  • Holders

  • Scheduled 

  • Unscheduled

  • Additional Interests

How to use the feature:
1. To begin, select your client in Indio and go to the Schedule Workbook section in the Client Dashboard.

2. After you’ve opened the Schedule section, locate the schedule you wish to export and click on the Options menu (...) on the right side of the specific schedule.

3. Click on the Export to Sagitta option.

Indio will export the data within the schedule you selected in XML format for import into Sagitta.

Importing the schedule data into Sagitta

To complete the process, open your Sagitta AMS and select the Policy record that will be the destination for the schedule import.

Within the Policy Details page, click on the Maintain menu option.

Next, select and open the Transaction to which you’ll attach the schedule...

...and then click on the Import tool icon at the top right side of the Policy Details screen.

Select “XMLXLS” for the import format

And then select the Schedule Type from the drop-down list for the import. In this example, it will be a Drivers schedule.

Now browse for and select the XML file with the schedule data that you exported from Indio.

And then click the Import button

That’s it! Sagitta will prompt you to confirm the import and then show you an “Import Successful” message when the import is complete. You can then view the imported schedule and its data within the Schedules section of the Policy page.
