What is it?

Indio now allows exporting attachments from the Documents tab to an Account in Epic. Now both the systems can maintain a copy of the attachment, without the agent manually uploading it inside Epic.

This is another step in the path of making the exchange of data between Indio and Applied Epic automated, more robust, and seamless.

*This feature requires Epic 2020 MU3 or above, as well as an SDK license.

How does it work?

In the Documents tab, agents will see a button with the Applied logo. When this "Send to Epic" feature is clicked, the selected attachment exports to the Attachments section on Account in Epic. This feature can co-exist with the Send to ImageRight feature.

All file types supported by this functionality (e.g. doc, pdf, xlsx, txt, zip etc.) Max attachment size is 20 MB.

Once the "Send to Epic" is clicked, it will show a success banner if the export was successful and an error banner if the export was unsuccessful.

Once the attachment is exported, the "Send to Epic" feature will also show a timestamp for the last export on hover. The attachment can be exported as many times, as needed.

The exported attachment will show up on the Attachments section (Account level). It can then be manually associated to any other level (e.g. line, policy, activity etc.)
