Set up instructions for the Policy Works Administrator

What is it?

With minimal set up, Policy Works can now share account & policy information to/from Indio.

What is the benefit?

This integration benefits your commercial lines staff because it streamlines the insurance application process, and allows them to link, import and export data between Indio and Policy Works on-demand, and in real-time.

How it works:

Before you begin configuring Indio in Administrator, verify the following:

  • You have an Indio license, and know your agency’s domain. Your agency’s domain is unique to your brokerage and allows you to log into the Indio portal. To find your agency’s domain, click here.

  • Users have their profiles setup in Indio that includes a username and password. For instructions on adding team members to Indio, click here.

  • Your IT Department or System Administrator has installed Policy Works 2021 or higher, and you have a license for the P&C Survey Module.

  • On-Premise available April 30, 2021; Cloud available May 21, 2021

To enable Indio integration, you must have permission to log onto the Policy Works Administrator site.

  1. From the Tools menu, choose Options > General. The Options window displays.

  2. Click the Indio tab and do the following: Check Enable Indio integration. When checked, the Indio integration button displays on the main toolbar in Policy Works. This is a global setting and is visible to all users.Enter your Production URL. The Production URL is your agency’s custom domain. If you do not know your agency’s domain, click here.

  3. Click Test.

If the test is successful, click OK to close the Options window.
