What is it?

Enable brokers to use Indio platform as data capture tool and collaborate with insured prospects or customers for basic data collection, in conjunction with established Policy Works workflows for marketing and customer management.

Benefit of the feature:

The on-demand flow of risk data between Policy Works and Indio minimizes double-entry and maximizes the commercial lines workflow between your client, their insurers, and your brokerage.

How it works:

From the Policy Works Submission or Remarket transaction, users can:

  1. Link to Indio - Opens Indio in your web browser, locates the same client you had open in Policy Works, and brings you to the client Submissions screen.

  2. Import from Indio - Create new Transaction in Policy Works (if none exists) or Import into existing Transaction

  3. Export to Indio - Create new Submission in Indio (if none exists) or Export to existing Submission

Before you begin:

Your Indio Administrator is responsible for setting up your broker portal and user profiles.

  1. From Policy Works, access the Tools menu and select Options. The Options screen displays.

  2. Click the Indio tab and do the following:

    1. Enter your User ID. Your User ID is the email address used to create your Indio profile.

    2. Enter your Password. This is the same password used to log into Indio.

  3. Click Test.

  4. If the test is successful, click OK to close the Options screen. If you experience issues verifying your User ID and Password, contact your Indio Administrator to reset your password.

What risk data is linked?

  • Majority of Underwriting, Locations, Risks data fields (eg: COPE)

  • P&C risks only

  • Excludes:

    • Does not work with Auto module

    • all Coverages

    • all photos

    • Indio additional supplemental forms & attachments

    • Indio Schedule Workbooks (unless also mapped to the Policy Works Form)

    • Policy Works Scheduled lists (eg: CEF, yellow schedules)

    • Policy Works Attachments (PDF, Word, Excel)
