How do Tables Work Within Indio Forms?

There are two distinctly different types of tables that are used in Indio's Digitized Forms: Title Tables & Repeatable Tables.

Title Tables and Repeatable Tables have specific use cases as well as limitations. All of them are summarized below:

Title tables are static tables used when a section of an application is looking to collect a defined number of responses (i.e. Top 5 Clients & % of Revenue, 3 Largest Offices, Revenue Broken out by Specific Country, etc.). Furthermore, these tables are comprised of cells, similar to an Excel file, that an applicant can ‘tab’ through as they complete the row. It is important to note that Title Tables do not map against any other forms within Indio. However, the data contained within these tables will populate into the form for next year’s renewal upon renewing the submission.

Title Table Examples:

Repeatable Tables are used when a section of an application is looking to collect an undefined number of responses (i.e. List all owned vehicles, List all employees, etc.). Typically, repeatable tables are utilized when a form is looking to collect exposure information of some kind. It is important to note that repeatable tables do not map against other applications, however, these tables do have the ability to communicate

with corresponding workbooks. With this in mind, an applicant can utilize a workbook to act as the conduit between any two forms that are leveraging similar repeatable tables or exposure information (i.e. driver information, vehicle information, etc.).

Not all repeatable tables have the ability to communicate with the 42 different exposure types that Indio supports within the workbook feature. We will discuss this in greater detail in the next section.
