What is it?

We’ve released the new granular account access permissions for managing your agency’s users.

Benefits of the feature:

These new user types and account access levels allow you to have more granular control over account access permissions for each of the user types. This aligns well with the larger organizational structure, access level, and security needs.

Note: This feature is only available upon request. When enabled the existing 'Employee' agent type users will be by default mapped to the 'Standard Agent' user type with Assigned Accounts access, existing 'Manager' agent type users to 'Standard Agent' user type with Regional Accounts access and Admin agent type to 'Enterprise Admin' user type with Agency access, with an option to change the default settings. To learn more about or to enable the new User Types and Account Access Levels, feel free to chat with our support team using the chat feature located in the bottom right-hand corner of the platform or email support@useindio.com.

How to use the feature:

  1. First, click on the “Team Management” option under the “Admin” dropdown menu.

  2. On the top right-hand side of this screen, you will see a button that reads “Create a New Agent” which allows you to add additional Indio user(s) for your agency.

There are two user types to choose from 'Standard Agent' or 'Enterprise Admin'.

  • Standard Agent: This user type by default has access to client accounts assigned specifically to them, plus the accounts they create.

  • Enterprise Admin: This user type by default has access to all client accounts and all the application features.

Note: To change the default access for user types, read below account access levels.

After providing the new user’s basic information, you will need to select their account access level. There are three new different access levels within Indio:

  • Assigned Accounts: Selecting this grants full editing access only to client accounts that are assigned to the agent or created by the agent.

  • Regional Accounts: Selecting this grants full editing access to client accounts within their associated region(s).

  • Agency Accounts: Selecting this grants full editing access to all client accounts for their entire agency.

Note: The Indio Technologies platform is most optimized on browsers such as Google Chrome or Firefox. If you use Internet Explorer there may be limited functionality as a result.
