What is it?

When you add a form into a submission, the data within that form talks to all the other forms within the same submission.

Indio’s smart mapping allows for data on one form to map over to another form if the questions are very similar or exactly the same. This is important to know because this means a form cannot be added to the same submission twice.

The workaround is to create an entity.

Benefits of the Feature:

An entity will allow you to add the same form within a submission. However, please remember that this option does NOT allow mapping between forms. If you fill in data for a form under one entity, it will not affect the other ones.

How to Use the Feature:

First, you will need to “Edit Submission” by following the image below:

Next, click "+ Add New Entity":

Type in the name of the Entity and click "Add":

From here, you will need to select the new Entity in order to have it added under the Submission. After you have selected the Entity, click "Save":

You can now add the same form used (for the Primary entity) or any other needed applications for that newly created entity.

TIP: If you do not want your insured to see or answer redundant questions on the same applications under the newly created entities, you can hide parts of the application using the "Hide Sections" option.

Disclaimer: This method does NOT allow mapping between forms of different entities. If you fill in data for a form under one entity, it will not affect the other ones. If you need the data to transfer to the same form, please see this article: https://help.useindio.com/en/articles/3553632-how-do-you-renew-a-submission
