What is it?

Indio also provides a unidirectional automatic import of Accounts and Policy Headers from Applied Epic to Indio.

This type of import is restricted and unidirectional to avoid data being automatically updated in your Applied Epic management system.

How to use the feature?

The automatic import does not require any user intervention and occurs every hour. The SDK integration will be leveraged to enable this functionality.

Updates made to any of the following fields on an account will be brought from Applied Epic into Indio automatically:

  • Whole Account Profile (Name, Email Address, Address fields, Fax, Phone, Website, Country)

  • Account Contacts (Name, Email Address, Phone)

  • Assigned Agents (Name, Email Address, Regions)

Having a primary contact is mandatory for both the manual and automatic integration. If you do not have a primary contact well defined in Applied Epic, there is a setting available that allows you to grab the first valid contact information from Applied Epic.

Please note: There is a separate setting available to control auto-import of secondary contacts and whether they will have limited access (default setting is that all contacts get full access).

Indio also provides the following filtering options, which are available by requesting access from your Customer Success Manager:

  • Agency Codes - List of Agency Codes the client must match in order to be imported. If no codes are requested, this filter will be ignored.

  • Department Codes - List of Department Codes the client must belong to in order to be imported. If no codes are requested, this filter will be ignored.

  • Branch Codes - List of the branch codes the client is associated with. When provided, only clients that belong to any of the branch codes provided will be imported.

  • Opportunity Type - Indio provides the ability to explicitly filter out clients by opportunity type - either current clients only, prospects only or both types.

  • Type of Business - This refers to the filtering ability to include or exclude clients based on the type of business set in Applied Epic.

  • Category Codes Inclusive List - List of Category Codes the client must be part of in order to be imported. If no codes are requested, this filter will be ignored.

  • Category Codes Exclusive List - List of Category Codes the client must NOT be part of in order to be imported. If no codes are requested, this filter will be ignored.
